I've finally managed to get another scooter after almost 12 years. The only problem is that I now have to register it and get it back on the road. Which is not going to be easy with my limited technical knowledge (any offers of assistance would be grateful).
The scooter requires to be re-registered as I unwittingly had bought a stolen scooter (I must stress that I didn't steal this scooter!). After the Police had carried out their investigations, it was then down to negotiations with the Insurance company to see if I could get ownership of the Lambretta. This I have only just managed to do after almost 6 months.
I will not go in to too much details as regards to how much I paid for it at the moment anyway, but as you can see from the photo's I'm going to need to spend some money on it to get it back on the road.
I'll try to bring regular updates on how I'm doing with the scooter and also add some photographs as and when I can.
After discussing the Lambretta with some friends and my wife, I've decided sell it. Which I have now done and am in the market for a Vespa T5 or P200.
